I'm Jay - I'm mid 40's and live with my wife and kids outside of Atlanta in a small town. In the 80's I played in a fairly well known punk band. My first love is the music I grew up playing with my family, country, folk and Irish trad.
My wife comes from a family of successful gospel performers and our kids can both sing - our daughter is pursuing music and will sing the National Anthem at our town's 175th birthday celebration. She's hoping to make her mark on country music and turn Nashville on it's head. She really dislikes the junk they are peddling now that's full of southern stereotypes and urban influences. I think she can rise to the top if she keeps up the hard work.
